I don't know about you, but when I purchase a make-up item I really do expect to be still using it a month down the line. Is that too much to ask? Why am I given sample sized amounts in disguise of a full sized product? Hey Rimmel and E.LF? You answer me that!
Here are two of the accused products:
Rimmels 'Scandaleyes' eyeshadow stick
and
E.L.F's eyeliner and shadow stick
Both great products to use. I fell in love with the eyeshadow stick at first application due to its colour, quality and most importantly, ease of use. However this love affair has quickly fallen flat on it's face. Once you have used the tip, that is it. I have tried without much (any!) success to sharpen this fat plastic pen. This whole eyeshadow stick isn't a make up revelation brought to us solely by Rimmel. You can find several similar products on the market, just like Clinique's chubby stick shadow tint. With it's twist up bottom it allows you to use the whole of the product inside the length of the pen, which at £17 you really do hope to get your moneys worth.
Well, now that little rant is over here's to a new year full of product reviews and outfit posts.

glad i read this, been eyeing this up but always been sceptical about chubby sticks, just way to comfortable with normal/ creamy eyeshadows! xx
